The Baldwins Biography-
So, a little bio...we have been married for 4 years and have a three year old daughter, Emma. We are both Christians. God called us to adopt and we are following that call. We are adopting from Ethiopia through Children's Home International out of St. Louis. We are adopting a boy age 0-2. We have just turned in our adoption agreement and have paid $1000 so far, but will end up paying around $18,000-25,000 when all is said and done. We will have to travel to Ethiopia twice in the process. We will be able to apply for some grants, but not until after the home study is done, which is our next step. We are doing our home study through Baptist Children's Home and Family Services. We have $1900 to raise for the home study, plus a $100 application fee. Until we get that done, we have some things to get done in the meantime... one class will cost $150, state licensure $150, and then around $200 for passports, $830 for FBI fingerprinting and our I-600A forms, and around a $100 for numerous certified, notarized copies of birth certificates and marriage certificates. So, these are fees we'll have to pay while we are trying to save money for the home study. We know that God has called us to do this and also know, just as well, that it is something we will ever be able to do on our own. I am thrilled at what God has done so far to make it happen and so anxious to see what He will continue to do.

Soon...we'll have promotional photographs taken of the Baldwin family. They have a precious little girl and think you guys should meet her also. We will post them as soon as possible. :)

You've met Ambriel before...remember her back in December with her cute little hat and heart sweater? Well, this is her and she's turning one, so had to get a nice photograph of her for the newspaper! I think we accomplished that, of course it's not really that hard when you have such a cute subject. Thanks Amanda, for letting us photograph Ambriel once again. It's always a joy.

We wrote a blog a few times back about Cori and Damon's wedding. We said we'd write more than one, so here's number two. Just some random good ones of the wedding party and things. The guys were hilarious. Damon really came into his element when they were around. The girls got to have some fun also. Thanks again Cori and Damon and congratulations. :)

Here is another cute little girl we photographed. This is Macy and she wanted to get photographs taken of her for the fun of it. She was a little shy at first, but came out of her shell quickly. We think she's quite a ham. Gotta love that sweatshirt too, giving props to the grandparents!

Grandma and Grandpa needed some photographs with two of their grandchildren. Meet Rich, Vicki, Ava and baby Jack. Rich and Vicki go to our church and like us just a little. They consistently use us. Don't know if you remember Tierney or not, but that's Rich and Vicki's granddaughter as well. She was amazing to work with. We truly enjoy photographing this extended family. How could you not want to photograph these precious children?

Look at these eyes? Amazing, right? Sister and brother. Ava loves her brother. Can you tell?

I told you we photographed very cute girls at Christmas on Main, this is another one. Her name is Kyla. She definitely had the most faces for the day. Such a personality on this girl. She loved the ornament. In one photograph, she's eating it. We have a feeling she can make anyone laugh. Thanks Holly for letting us photograph your adorable little girl!

This is the first of at least a couple of blogs of Cori and Damon's wedding. Cori was a such a fun bride to work with. She wasn't afraid to try things and I think her individual shoot went well. She knows how to work the camera with those gorgeous eyes. Congratulations Cori and Damon! Hope newlywed life is everything you expected and more!
